We are all made of star stuff
I'm a postdoctoral research fellow studying astrophysics at Université Pierre & Marie Curie, LNPHE. My research focuses on one of the most energetic explosions in the Universe, the supernovae. A supernova is the explosive death of a star, which unleashes a burst of light through the cosmos and ejected material expanding from the explosion.
Currently, I am working on using these objects to measure distances in Universe and to answer some of the grandest questions: What the age of the Universe? What will be the future of the Universe? What is the nature of the dark energy? How the matter is distributed?
